how i got here…

Growing up in Melbourne, I was always dreaming of being able to move to the United States and tell stories for a living. I wrote my undergraduate thesis on the presence of the outsider in the plays of Sarah Ruhl and have made many an attempt to write a role worthy of Kate McKinnon, so hopefully that gives you a good idea of where my passions lie (as disparate as those two artists might be). I love writing scripts that focus on small moments or people that the world might see as not worthy of their own narrative, but when I'm not doing that, I spend my time writing about crazy famous people who struggle to deal with the repercussions of their notoriety. Or doing yoga. Or writing bad poetry.
